Because IBM / Lotus wants us from a marketing perspective to call 'databases' 'applications' in release 8 I guess we may demand that the confusing @DbTitle must be renamed to something called @AppTitle

1) Corey Davis (05 Dec 2007)
This breaks backward compatibility.
2) Rob Goudvis (06 Dec 2007)
Who will update all my applications? And who will locate all usages of @DbTitle in my applications?
3) Paul Davies (06 Dec 2007)
I'm agreeing with this, as I hate seeing older terms used in the programming languages, but only on the condition that backward compatibility is retained somehow.
4) Patrick Kwinten (06 Dec 2007)
this was just a silly joke, but if IBM wants us to call databases applications I think they should adjust the functons/formulas to keep it consistent, having backward compatibility in mind ofcourse.
5) Gregory Engels (03 Mar 2008)
Guys, keep cool - changes in the formula language happened before. Since there is not the actual syntax stored, but only a bit representation, it is no problem to change it to what ever they would like, and all old occurrences in your old apps would change magically.

Just remember of all that @V2if and @V3UserName
6) Christopher Boote (12 Aug 2009)
Just ADD @appname/@Apppath etc. that do the same as @dbname[1] & @dbname[2]
7) Patrick Kwinten (07 Sep 2009)
Lotus Knows .... an application is more than a database?
