My thought is to add a button to the design properties tab of the application properties that will do the refresh design task so that once you enter a template name to refresh from you don't have to complete the four step process to actually refresh the design. Sure it is only four steps, but why do we have to leave the design properties tab to perform this step?
While on this tab why not also go ahead and add a field to enter in the server name to refresh design from so that if it is filled in you don't get prompted, but if empty or template not found on that server you do get prompted.

Button is not necessary, just add a field, in which to enter the server name.
You can update the design standard command from the menu "Refresh Design".

Your idea is what prompted me to finally post my idea which I had thought about many months ago and for some reason I wasn't able to save the idea with an image like you did. Your ACL button is great, but I don't see how it will work for my idea.

You are correct and I had mentioned doing that as part of my idea also. I just think it would be easier to just have an action button there with the template/server name fields.
