When a Notes database gets deleted it is very difficult to track down who/when the database got deleted. I would like to see a way of being able to track this information. One possibility would be to use Catalog.nsf to retain deleted entries in a special deletions area with the Username and Date/Time stamp of the deletion. We could customize the period of time this information is retained.

Let me get the point: Who can delete a database? An Admin? Wouldn't this Admin be able to remove his/her traces?

@Dirk, no anyone with Manager access to a database can delete a database. I rarely have an issue with an Admin deleting a database they usually know/understand what they are doing. Sometime a user can delete a database thinking they are merely removing the database icon from their worskpace. Getting them to admit to it often is a problem and having an audit trail can often negate a big waste of time proving the "system" didn't magically delete the database.
