LotusScript: Possibility of optional parameters in subs/functions
Use this IdeaSpace to post ideas about Domino Designer.
I want to have ability to define some last parameters of a sub/function as 'optional' with default value like in native lotusscript subs/functions.

You get my 'Promote' vote, although I doubt this will ever become reality. It has been discussed years ago, and the answer from IBM/Lotus then was along the lines of "LS is [only] a scripting language, we have no plans to push it any further."

LotusScript is very similar to MS VBA. There is ability of 'optional parametrers' in MS VBA. Why not in LotusScript?

It's never going to happen, as good an idea as it is.
