Sometimes I want to examine an email to see if it is potentially malicious before opening the email.  But you can only view the page source once you've opened the email.

I'm not sure how to vote on this. I think this is would only be for really technical people, so I'd certain want it hidden from the average user. I want to see the Notes client simplified, not complicated.

I agree this is not for your average user. I'd be happy for it to be part of the Advanced menus, turned off by default for the general user.

Many mail clients simply have a button to toggle between "simple" and "full" headers.

I would like to see Lotus create something that is an add-on for Mozilla Thunderbird called, "Display Mail User Agent." This add-on displays an icon representing the program that send the original e-mail. I believe they have well over 200 icons and can actually make the distinction between the Lotus Notes client and DWA; likewise with Microsoft products.

I've added this to the mail template to let user's forward possible spam. It's been very valuable but it is seldom used. Since there is a similar feature in one of the openntf mail templates it could now be incorporated into the Lotus mail tempalte.

Just highlight the message and open document properties, then click on the second tab and select Body from the list. You can review all of the message body's contents safely from that level without invoking any malicious code. Works quite well and very safe.
