Sometimes users (or designers or admins), need to write the Replica Id of a db somewhere. In the db properties/info  box, you can see the replica id, but there's no way to select it, so you have to read it and manually type it where you need it.

This can cause many mistakes... there should be an option to select and copy the replica id to avoid type mistakes.

I agree that this would be convenient, but there is a method that you can use to select and copy the Replica ID for a database rather than write it down to enter it manually:

In Design Synopsis dialog box (File > Database > Design Synopsis), select the "Choose DB Info" tab, check the "Replication" checkbox to indicate what information to include, and click the OK button (no need to select any design elements if all you want is the Replica ID). The Design Synopsis document is displayed with the database Replica ID selectable.

@Randy: You are right, but this works only, if the Domino Designer is installed (as far as I remember), therefore this is not an option for "normal" users.

I'd like to see the request be more generic, such as "make it easy to copy the properties of a database to the clipboard". Perhaps a single button on the properties box that puts the DB title, path, size, replica ID, created date, and last modified date onto the clipboard.

great idea. I use to use a smarticon to show database and document id in a prompt box where I could copy it and have now found that you can copy and paste those from a document properties box, under the 'meta' tab (+), 'identifier'.
You can copy from there so why aren't all properties displayed this way? seems simple enough

Try this:
Copy a document as link and then paste it into notepad. Also works for database and view links. Does not seem to work for doc links.

Should be easier though to do it.
