We all know that we can set multiple entries in the ACL of a set of databases at once using the Domino Administrator client.
But one option is missing. An example: You want to set the access level for a mailfile owner to Editor and enable a few options and assign a role or two.
From a developers point of view it is easy. You can write an agent. But as an administrator you normally do not write agents in LotusScript. You use your admin client.
Unfortunately there is no chance to do this today.
Pls. IBM, enhance the admin client and give us the ability to change the ACL of multiple databases. The ACLEntry to be changed has to be dynamic. ( i.e. the value of the owner field in the calendar profile of the mailfile)
I've already asked the people at Ytria , if this is possible by using aclEZ; it seems, that there is a chance to accomplish the aim.

Ulrich if Paul's tool works for you would you want to withdraw the idea? You can update the idea with a link to Paul's solution.

Thanks for the tool; it is near but not exactly what I need. When I'm talking about roles, I'm thinking of something like [MyRole]. This option is missing in your tool, but it is open source and I can change the code to my own needs.
Another thing is that I do not need to enable/ disable the [MyRole] on all mailfiles but on selected users.
We have added some functionality to the mailfile to store mails as an attachment to an SAP business object. And not all users need this option. So I do have to change the ACL for selected users only.

As far as there is a solution from Paul or someone else it still makes sense to be part of the product, otherwise all new admins have to look on the internet for all those tools which can make their lives easier and it isn't plus for the product.
