when copying the files for Ext. files into a database I realized how nice it would be to be able to import multiple files at once and have the option to 'save' or 'store' the pathname into the name of the resource.

nowadays you select multiple files and after importing you may re-establish the correct pathname file by file. what a waste of time!

please give us the option to store the pathname from a certain 'root' folder

I agree with you but there is a way to do that now, you can use WebDAV. <a href="{ Link } an how to from Jake Howlett.

The only sensible way I see to do this would be to allow the import of a folder with an option to keep the (relative) paths. When importing a single resource, what part of the path would you want to keep?

As Vitor said, WebDAV is a way to achieve that right now. However, having native support in Domino Designer would be adequate.

WebDAV offers outstanding possibilities to connect shared drives between IBM Lotus Quickr and pc's, tablets or mobile devices.

Lialis, a Dutch Lotus and WebDAV Solution Provider, has released WebDAV solutions for Quickr { Link } Lotus { Link } and Connections { Link }
