Allow the @domain part of a user identifier to be included in a reader or author field entry. This'd allow use of the reader or author field in email as well as for security purposes, and the field wouldn't need to be re-created to guarantee emailing the author, e.g.

If the user's already authenticated by hierarchical name, it shouldn't have an impact on actual security.

And @NameLookup including the domain would allow easy expansion to the full hierarchical name, with the doman address as well.

According to the online help:

@Domain
Returns the name of the current user's Domino mail domain listed in the current location document of the Personal Address Book.

As the domain is not part of the ID file but taken from elsewhere, it could be forged too easy.

There's no impact. The user is authenticated to his username. Adding the domain name would not establish the user's name any differently. But it *would* indicate how to contact that user.

It is a pain sometimes. I normally remove the @domain part in (editable) fields that need to be added to reader or author fields. It would be nice if Notes would accept them, but it's easy to 'remove'. Hence nor promote, nor demote.

Yeah, the real problem I get into though is, once I delete it, I have to find the domain again to send emails. And sometimes I get someone (John Smith seems to be everywhere) who resolves to more than one domain. And I'm stuck.
