It can happen that your operating systems time and date are incorrect, showing a future time and/or date. If you start a Domino server with a future time everything will work fine so you may not instantly notice a problem. Correcting the time/date and restarting Domino will result in lots of errors like "time is too far in the future" and other problems like views not updating etc etc.
I suggest to add a simple check at serverstart check if it is more than 5 days since last server shutdown. If yes, prompt on the console to confirm you really want to start the server.
Making this feature and the number of days optional would be really nice.

Perhaps a better solution would be an option to have Domino automatically query an configurable external NTP server at startup time. Then compare the result with the reported OS time; if they are more than a few seconds different then prompt the user whether to continue starting or not. By using a reliable NTP server like what the NIST runs you can really be certain if the clock is accurate or not.
