Hmm, not sure if this belongs in Domino Designer IdeaSpace, and also, just curious, what version of iNotes are you speaking of?

I'm not sure I like gmail or yahoo or inotes in every aspect, as usual, I'd like a mix of certain elements of them and more, but I would certainly not like to see iNotes mimic either of them.

I'm asking myself the same questions. iNotes 8.5.1 is for me already the best webmail experience. I also use Gmail and Hotmail. I don't see what functionality of both I would like in iNotes.

I only use gmail as a backup and testing area.

I think that this request is just too broad and not specific enough to vote for. I think with the current version of INotes, they've got pretty good performance. If there were specific UI and/or functionality peices that yahoo or gmail had that you wanted Lotus to implement in INotes that would be something to be able to vote on.

I agree with @4. There isn't enough in this idea to really determine how to vote. For that reason, I am demoting it unless more information is supplied.

I would like to be able to access my web mail from other devices. We have Ipads at work a I just got a color Nook (Android OS) for home. The inbox shows up but I can't open any messages. I know that the first time that I access the mail from a PC it installs a plug in to make things work correctly. Obviously this does not happen on tablets.

It would be nice to be able to access your web mail without having to install anything on your web browser.

Mike - what version is your server? And what template is your mail file using?

In 8.5.2 there are many improvements to Domino to support mobile devices, and really, if you are on any pre-v8 series servers, you won't see any of these options.

There are a few options, using Traveler would be best, but there is also iNotes "Ultra-Light" mode.
