Please reimpress/recreate/redo a "Lotus-Notes Designer Best Practice guide" as it was done in 4/5/6. It is really boring to keep repeating always the same stuff and hear the developper says "it is for R6 not R8 in the title"......

I wonder if the era of the best practice guide has passed and that we should now be looking at Wikis as the way to communicate this sort of material. I instead would like to see a concerted effort to add structure and depth to the product wikis that include much more detailed coverage of best practices.

I believe that Peter is right. It seems to me that Lotus documentation is being pushed to wikis. Here is a link to the Designer wiki, although there is not a section on "Best Practices."

An issue with wiki's is their applicability is frozen in time. Where a solution or work around is applicable in version 8 or 8.5.1, is that solution or work around still applicable in 8.5.3?

I agree with Jerome in that the documentation is an aggregation across versions instead of version specific. When I read about an 8.5.1 issue or problem I have no idea if that is still a problem in the 8.5.3 version.
