When working with uploaded files the default Domino solution for showing and removing uploaded files looks 'ugly' and too basic and therefor almost always requires a work-around.
Some basic modifications like:
- the option 'don' t show file uploads from the web at the bottom of this page'
or
- the option 'show file uploads from the web in the following file upload control' (new design element)
or
- 'show files with extension icons'
- 'sort files on doc-type' or 'sort files by filenames' or 'sort files by file size'
are already a time-saving step ahead.

... or just give me back my ability to add %%Detach fields where I want them, which is a far more versatile approach. The only thing preventing us from doing whatever we want right now is the "security" of the CD-record offset as part of the %%Detach checkbox element's name. $V2AttachmentOptions handles everything else except the icons, which I'd like to keep current (instead of letting them go stale as the feature gets older and older). Just my 2 cents.

For me it would already be enought to have some way to code your own html for -say- 5 Fileuploads and have them included in the right fields and are able to access them in a reliable manner (file 1 is from teh first upload...). Without the ugly or workarounds...
