I would agree. I would also say to Abandon the Windows Platform all together! It's not worth it and after the no show on Vista and the inability to really do 64Bit with any speed. I would also like to see Domino run on MacOSX Server.
I have asked and asked for this time and time again from Ed, until he answered my question but I would agree that there should be more Linux and MacOSX push.
Couldn't agree more. It's only Domino Designer that keeps me running Windows at all. I use a MBP all day every day but have to fire up VMWare most of the time to do my Domino development. The day that I can dump Windows altogether I will buy the entire Domino Designer development team a round ;-)
Eclipse, at least what I have been able to discern so far, is a trogan horse… lipstick on a pig… WTF do I care if notes can execute along with a butt-load of baggage? IBM needs to get their heads out of their asses and deliver real shit.
I hope they fix Eclipse, if they are going to really stick with it. RIght now I cannot even open a few databases of mine with it. Scary stuff. But, maybe it will go the way of db2nsf.
