In Domino Web Server Configuration (domcfg.nsf), we can define custom forms for user login, performing password changes and displaying HTTP errors. These forms can either reside within domcfg.nsf or any other database. However, no matter which option we choose, WebQueryOpen and WebQuerySave agents are never executed, Domino just replaces the design of the default pages with the HTML generated for the custom pages.
If it would be possible to allow the execution of WQO and WQS agents in this context without the danger of us developers breaking any build in logic, and without opening security holes (which I might be overlooking), this would give us a bunch of new opportunities. I see use cases like simple alternatives to DSAPI filters and simpler, more flexible custom logging of special events.

Another good idea would be to allow us to put in X-Pages in the sign-in form mapping. Then we get much more control over where to redirect unauthenticated requests. e.g. Currently with forms it is impossible to generate a HTTP 302 status code. We have to fiddle with META tag redirects which are not supported by all clients.
