allow for Rich Text field to be "Computed for Display" so they are refreshed in Read mode, espically when getting a rich text field value from a Profile document (@GetProfileField( "ApplicationProfileDocument" ; "HelpDocumentation"))

I fully support the idea, but it belongs in the Notes Client idea space. I think you (the author) can change that, which would then give the idea greater visibility.
2) Theo Heselmans (29 Aug 2009)
It does work 'kinda'. Use a computed for display text field (so not RT), and @getdocfield or @getprofilefield from a RT field.
A single image in there works, text too. $File and $Font fields don't transfer, so you miss out on attachments and formatting (which is a pain). RMMV.
I do use it occasionally, also for web development.
But I agree, it should work better !
3) Peter Presnell (11 Sep 2009)
Perhaps we could get the same result if Notes forms were to support
1) The ability to make any field read only (as can be done with Xpages) and
2) The addition of Refresh command that also works on documents that are not being edited.
4) Starrow Pan (29 Sep 2009)
If a RT field could show it's latest content without re-opening the document, a lot of issues would be solved. I think it's related to the basic design of how Notes consumes the CD data and don't see it will be changed soon.
